Home Safety Workshop at the esther bone branch library

The Esther Bone Branch Library will present a seminar called Home Safety – Making Your Home a Safe Haven on Tuesday, May 6th, 2008 at 6:30 pm. The Library is located at 950 Pinetree Rd. SE in Rio Rancho, NM

This seminar provides overviews of common safety hazards found within different rooms of a home, and safety tips to eliminate them. Jack Corder of Liberty Mutual Insurance will conduct the workshop.

Mike Moutoux to perform cowboy poetry at the library

Mike Moutoux, “New Mexico’s most enchanting cowboy”, will be performing a mix of cowboy poetry and music at the Esther Bone Memorial Library. This event will be held on May 29th at 6:30 pm.

The Esther Bone Library is located at 950 Pinetree Rd. SE in Rio Rancho, NM. If you need directions to the library or more information about the program you may call 891-5012, extension 3128. You may also email rnankin@ci.rio-rancho.nm.us.

This program is free; however tickets are required and available at the adult information desk in the library. Cowboy poetry is extremely popular and library staff advises getting tickets early because seating is limited.

Mike Moutoux hales from Grant County, New Mexico. His newest CD, Headin’ Home, was nominated in 2007 for Cowboy Poetry CD of the Year, by the Western Music Association.
