Dear Tabitha,
I received an e-mail with your event flier in it, sounds like a great event! I also have an event lined up that I thought the New Mexico Home School Community would love to attend, we are pleased to be hosting author Robyn Scott here at Bookworks at 7pm Tuesday, April 22 for a talk and signing.
Scott is 27 and a graduate of Cambridge University who, like the children and families your organization supports, was home schooled! Scott was raised in Botswana, where her mother home schooled her and her two siblings. Twenty Chickens for a Saddle: The story of an African Childhood is the name of her memoir and it discusses how her mother home schooled the three girls, her education philosophy, Scott’s own experiences, and the results—Scott went on to graduate from Cambridge with a masters degree in Bioscience Enterprise and helped to establish a charitable foundation for AIDS orphans!
If you feel like this wonderful, free event is one you would like to share with the New Mexico Home School Community I would be happy to forward a flier to you, or perhaps drop some off for distribution.
Thanks and best,
Cein Cunningham
