New Mexico Teens: Cafe Scientifique activities in April

Tabitha,

I am wondering if you could advertise the following activities to parents of home school students in Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Espanola and Albuquerque.

The Cafe Scientifique Youth Leadership Team is hosting its April series of Cafes with Dr. Jennifer Hollingsworth who will speak on "Nanotechnology: Myth and Reality. More information about the topic and the speaker is at www.cafenm.org. Teens are invited to join us at any of the following meetings:

Albuquerque
April 9 from 6-8 PM at the NM Museum of Natural History and Science

Los Alamos
April 10 from 7-:8:30 PM at Bradbury Science Museum
Santa Fe
April 17 from 6-7:30 at Santa Fe Community College Jemez Rm 2
Espanola
April 20 from 2:30-4 at Northern New Mexico College Room 101/102 in the Administration Building

Cafe Scientifique is a program for teens that introduces them to current science and technology topics that are of interest to them. Dr. Hollingsworth will speak for 25 minutes and students will then be encouraged to discuss how nanotechnology is changing our world. The Youth Leadership Team would like to emphasize that the Cafes are designed so that they are of interest to all high school students. Everyone is welcome to attend. Food and drink is provided, and students are eligible to win door prizes. For further information, please log onto www.cafenm.org or contact Michelle Hall at 663-5365, hall@scieds.com.
