CLICKSCHOOLING REVIEW

Recommended Website:
MIT Open Courseware: Video Lectures

Age Range: 14 and up (These are college lectures by MIT professors. They are
geared for students with an existing foundational knowledge of science and
math. Accelerated younger students may find aspects fascinating as well. )

Mindi Warren recommended today's website that provides free video lectures
on physics and science by professors at Massachusetts Institute Of
Technology (MIT).

When you get to the website you'll see the featured video and below it is a
menu of video lecture titles such as:

Powers of Ten
Circular Motion - Centrifuges
Newton's Laws
Friction
Work - Kinetic and Potential Energy
Impulse - Rockets
Rotating Rigid Bodies - Neutron Stars/Pulsars
Static Equilibrium
Fluid Mechanics - Pascals' Principle
Hydrostatics - Archimedes' Principle
Simple Harmonic Oscillations
Heat - Thermal Expansion
The Wonderful Quantum World
High Energy Astrophysics
-and more!

Click on any one and a new page opens with an overview of what the video
lecture includes. Click on the designated link to watch the video lecture.

This is a great way to enhance high school science and math curriculum - and
is sure to interest kids with a passion for these topics. It also provides
insight into what takes place in MIT lecture halls. :)
