WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO

Who We Are
We’re think-outside-the-box creative types!
We’re analytical engineers!
We’re state accredited teachers!
We’re education researchers!
We’re retired teachers!
We’re degreed professionals!
We’re parents just like you!

Why We’re Here
1. To help kids catch up and keep up with their studies.
2. To inspire self-motivated education.
3. To ignite a passion for life-long learning.

What We Do
AFTER-SCHOOL TUTORING: We offer after-school and evening tutoring for all grade levels, all subjects. During the school year, our tutors work with your child’s teacher and the district’s curriculum. Using your child’s classroom-assigned textbook, we focus on homework and scheduled tests.

SUMMER TUTORING: Our summer tutoring program targets areas of academic weakness and provides remedial assistance to prepare your child for success in the fall.

Our summer program also provides additional educational enrichment opportunities. We teach through games and hands-on activities. We involve students in their education and make learning fun!

But That’s Not All We Do
HOMESCHOOL PROGRAMS: We also support our local area homeschoolers (100+ families strong). Homeschooling families come to S*M*A*R*T Kids Etc. for enrichment classes in art, writing, astronomy, and geography. They come to practice for the Scripts Spelling Bee. They come for our book club and family game nights. We open our doors to homeschooling workshops and holiday parties. We host a library of homeschooling materials and offer an educational consignment store for gently-used curriculum.

And There’s More!
PRE-K PROGRAMS: Story-times and kindergarten readiness workshops are coming soon for parents with children ages 3 to 5 years
