I just wanted to send this thank-you to the entire community of homeschoolers in New Mexico. You ALL made this event what it is and what it will become, every member of our community is valuable and you are all appreciated! You made our 'Not Back to School' Fair such a great event! We counted over 500 by 10:30AM and the day ended with a count of around 700 attendees!
This event was a learning experience that can only make next time so much better. Next time you are in the Taylor Ranch Community Center please let the staff know how much their letting us use their facility is appreciated! They have been so welcoming of the homeschooling community and they went out of their way to make sure everyone had what they needed.
For our May 2008 event we will be using the gymnasium as well as the large conference room in lieu of the hallway! Call for community resources and swap/sellers will go out in February 2008, so watch your emails or check the website!
Individual thank-yous will be going out this week.
