Albuquerque: Update on Art & Gym Classes at Raymond G. Sanchez CC

Just to clarify what the $10 per participant means…that is a ONE TIME ANNUAL FEE…in other words, the class is essentially free…and meets for two hours twice a week.

I talked to the guy who will be teaching the gym class. The kids will be doing sports, not just exercise or motor skills type stuff.

I talked to one of the ladies who will be teaching the art class, and she said they will be doing a lot of crafts, like bead projects.

So, if child is already enrolled in another exercise class and/or art class, I don’t think they’re going to be duplicating anything they are already doing.

They have started an enrollment list. You do have to go into the community center to put your child/ren on the list. You don’t pay the $10 until classes start on the 11th.

I suppose how long they run it will depend on the response from the homeschool community.

It is limited to 15 students.
