Webresource: Online Spanish, German and Calculus from Oklahoma State University

Dear Home School Parent or Association;
If you want your child to get high-quality instruction, have new learning opportunities by using existing technology, all at a low cost to you, then check out what Oklahoma State University has to offer at http://k12.okstate.edu/
We have an excellent track record – for the last 23 years we have successfully taught thousands of high school students through distance learning, first via satellite TV and the last 6 years via the Internet. During this time we have seen a lot of programs by other providers come and go – we are still here because we poured our heart and soul into these programs and we learned from our experience. We listened to our parents, teachers and students to create the most user-friendly courses available today.
We have delivered courses to more than 20,000 students in all 50 states and to American high schools overseas. Currently, we have about 1,000 high school students taking our courses. Here are the courses we offer and some comments from parents and educators:
AP Calculus AB & BC with Dr. James Choike
"I am so glad that my son has this option through the net. Possibly no student from his school has ever taken AP Calculus BC before..... Taking this course online has also taught him to be a self-starter and to manage his time well - a great preparation for college.”
Mr. Chandrasekhar, Parent, Kokomo, IN
AP German & German I – IV with Sabine Lewis and David Nagle
"One of my prime indicators of a good distance learning course is positive student feedback. …What could be a better indicator than 100% of level II students asking for a third year of German study....I am always eager to tell everyone I speak to that yours is probably the very finest conversational language program for high school students in the United States."
Robert Mackall, Distance Learning Coordinator
Cape Hatteras High School, Cape Hatteras, NC
Spanish I –II with Stephanie Coca
“Great course ... one of the best I have facilitated in the course of over a decade of distance learning facilitating. Workbook and homework assignments a little much sometimes, but overall workload appropriate. Great delivery and instructional staff and tutors, experts in their field with a knack for bringing themselves ‘into our classroom.’ Would highly recommend this course to any.”
Betty Byrum, Online Distance Learning Facilitator
Perquimans County High School, Hertford, NC
Our courses offer the convenience of Internet learning and the added value of toll free access to our instructors for assistance and tutoring. In addition, our courses are competitively priced at an average of $389 per student per course for the first 10 students and $150 for each additional student.
I invite you to review our website http://k12.okstate.edu/ for complete information about the program and the courses we can deliver to you and your students.
Please let me know if you have any questions about our courses. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
