Guys and Gals ages 8 and up (if you have a sibling of an 8 and older group in the 6-7 yr range and they really want to do this class I am going to say go for it) come join us at the Jericho Nursery for a class on How to Grow Veggies.
The cost is going to vary depending on what you want in your garden and whether you bring your own pots or not. She will have summer veggies by then like tomatoes, cukes, squash, peppers, etc. From Jennifer: A 20" daimeter pot will hold 1 tomato plant, 2-3 peppers, eggplant or squash depending on which variety.
It will be at their Village Mercantile location which is in Corrales at 3675 Corrales Road, 897-9328.

The last 'herb class' was hands down one of the best ones we had been on in some time, great store, great teacher, great kids beautiful yummy plants what more can you ask for? So come and have fun growing with us!
This class will be taught by Jennifer, one of the owners of the nursery!
We will be outside so wear appropriate clothing and hats and sungear!
15 Kids max! And please no drop-offs for this activity.

PS If you want to do shirts or have a garden club of some sort she is going to try to provide a stencil by then but no guarantees and it would be up to us to bring the shirts and paints, etc. but we can do them there if we want! Let me know if there is an interest in doing this if not no big deal! But it would be really fun to have regular gardening sessions there at the Nursery!
