Also here is the summer camp information, I believe that the classes are for beginners and but if your child is already in enrolled in classes and wants to do summer camp please talk to Toby for more questions:

Summer Camp 2007

Dates: June 19th - June 23rd
ages 8 - 12

June 26th - June 30th
ages 12 and over

We offer summer camps for those kids interested in learning the sport of fencing. Often called "physical chess," fencing encourages vigorous exercise of both the body and the mind.

Campers learn all the basics of modern Olympic fencing over the five day camp and end with a Saturday tournament!


How old do campers need to be?

We offer two separate camps:

8 - 12 years old
12 years and older


What days and times are the camps?

Tuesday through Saturday
10:00am until 2:00pm


How much are the camps?

Camp is $200 per student
We offer a 25% discount for siblings
(Former campers are eligible for discounts)


What is included in the camp?

All equipment and written materials
Fruit snacks each morning
Drinks for lunch (water, orange juice or apple juice)
All tournament prizes and medals


What should campers bring?

Campers need to bring lunch each day
(We have a refrigerator and mircowave)


What should campers wear?

T-shirts
Non-marking sneakers
Sweat pants/warm-ups and shorts
(Shorts for the morning and long pants for the fencing.)


How many kids are in each camp?

We allow a maximum of 12 campers per session


How do I reserve a camp spot for my child?

A deposit of $100 (cash or check) is required one month before the beginning of camp to reserve a spot.
