Albuquerque: First Friday Fractals Tonight!

From the brand new Alibi, "Best of Burque 2007"...

> BEST BURQUE EVENT THAT IS UNIQUE TO OUR CITY: Fractal Friday at the Planetarium

A pretty fun honor! Many, many thanks to all you fractal fans who have made this amazingly successful show possible! We've now sold out all 18 consecutive shows, and 21 if you count the 3 free Tricentennial shows that kicked off the series last year. I've never heard of anything like that happening with a math and science show. Thrilling! That means about 3400 people have now seen some version of this show, with hundreds more unfortunately turned away. Thank you for your patience if this happened to you!

If you'd like to go to the show coming up tonight... don't forget to call the Natural History Museum box office and reserve your tickets, and don't delay! These shows sometimes sell out by 2 in the afternoon. The number to call is 841-2869. If you're too late and they've already sold out... why not let them know you'd like to see more fractal shows on the schedule? It couldn't hurt.

I hope to see some of you there, and I hope to be able to announce officially that we'll be offering more fractal shows soon. Perhaps as often as every Friday night! The shows just keep getting better and better, and it's terrible to have to keep turning people away. Thanks for all your terrific support.
