Wildlife West Nature Park Edgewood, NM

Description

The Albuquerque Astronomical Society and the Edgewood Parks Department will host the second annual Edgewood Star Party Saturday, April 28 at Wildlife West Nature Park, just North of I-40 and just West of the Edgewood exit.



Telescopes will be set up in a flat field, shielded from the highway light. The field is next to a pole barn, where last year, spiced apple cider was served.



To get to the park, take I-40 East to the Edgewood exit. Turn left, go under the freeway, and turn left immediately past the access road. Follow this road approximately a mile to Wildlife West's entrance. Park personnel will direct you to the site. Those with equipment can drive to the observing field. Observing will commence at 7:00 p.m.
