More than 100 incredibly reproduced artifacts collected from King Tutankhamun’s tomb are on display in the Branigan Cultural Center, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, from October 13, 2006 through Janurary 31, 2007. King Tut’s tomb was discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter and the pieces show the history of the pharoah’s reign. The artifacts are the only detailed and handcrafted replicas of the original items from the tomb. This dazzling collection of masterworks created by artisans of the Pharaonic Village in Egypt, under the supervision of the Field Museum, and Metropolitan Museum of Art recreates the richest archaeological find of all time. The exhibit has been enjoyed by thousands all over the country.
