Wheeler, started turning out dime novels about a Robin
Hood of the Black Hills whom he named Deadwood Dick.
Dick became an overnight success and went on to write
64 Deadwood Dick novels.

Join an Art Center class staffed by experienced,

learning to enjoy the process as well as the product.

Registration for classes starts December 1, 2006 and
ends February 3, 2007.

**Open Boating @ Aquatic Center
Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 8:15 PM to 9:15 PM

Open boating will be offered every Tuesday until
August and every third Tuesday of the month August
through January. Practice time for canoes, kayaks and
rafts. Swim passes are not accepted during this time.

Fee: $4.50 per person

**Wacky Wednesday @ Aquatic Center
Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

"Wacky Wednesdays" are held each Wednesday during the
school year at a discounted price. Crocodile obstacle
course and movie in the sanck bar is also set up for
kids and parents to enjoy from 1pm-3pm.

Library:

1000 Acts of Kindness – We challenge you to perform
an act of kindness. Between January 15 and February
14, come into the library and share your act of
kindness on a paper heart and get a candy heart. Our
goal is to reach 1000 Acts of kindness. This is a
campaign in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
sponsored by the National Do Something Campaign. We
want to keep Dr. King's dream of kindness and justice
alive.

WaL- Wednesdays at the Library – January 17th at 2:00
we will have DDR for the 6-11 group and at 3:45 have
DDR for the 12+ group.
