Wildlife Programs, Rio Grande Nature Center & NM Museum of Natural History & Science, Albuquerque

This Saturday is the Winter Bird and Bat Festival at the Rio Grande Nature Center, 2901 Candelaria NW (344-7240)
Events run from 9am to about 4pm with guided bird walks, talks, kids crafts, booths, a bird walk for kids, a nature walk, and live birds from Wildlife Rescue and Talking Talons. I won't be giving the presentations this year. It's Talking Talons turn but I'll be there with the Wildlife Rescue birds from noon on, so if you're there, say hi!

And on Saturday, January 27, the Natural History Museum is having a raven program from 12-4. One of our Wildlife Rescue rehabbers is taking our ed. raven. The program focuses on a book called "Ten Raucous Ravens". Both the author and illustrator will be there, along with lots of hands-on things.
