Little Al’s Lab opens at the National Atomic Museum, Saturday, January 20th at 8:30 am. The first 75 children will be treated to breakfast with Einstein. Children will explore the world of physics through a hot light display, a pendulum snake exhibit, a standing wave machine and a series of discovery boxes that allow children and their parents to explore math and science concepts with fun brain teasers and activities. Children dressed as Einstein will be admitted free on January 20th, only. There will be a prize for the best costume of the morning. The museum is located at 1905 Mountain Road. Admission is $5 adults and $4 seniors and youth. The museum and lab are normally open 9-5 daily.
ZOOM into Engineering
Saturday, February 4, 2007 10:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
ZOOM into Engineering is the largest event of the year at the National Atomic Museum. We will have interactive engineering demonstrations, liquid nitrogen ice-cream demonstrations, solar energy demonstrations and much more. Troops, groups and classes are welcome to attend with a special group rate. Groups must make a reservation. Call 245-2137 ext 103 for details and reservations. The museum is located at 1905 Mountain Road. Admission is $5 adults and $4 seniors and youth.
