RAPPELLING & CLIMBING ADVENTURES

What: Come experience TWO fun, really cool and risky high adventure Xtreme sports in one day! First do some top-rope climbing on Waterfall Wall, about 30 to 40 feet tall with routes rated from beginner to near expert, as well as a very fun chimney. Then if you need to rest your climbing muscles, head across the canyon to East Wall, where you can rappel off an approximately 120 foot tall cliff with an overhang that prevents you from touching the wall for much of the rappel. Experienced Outdoor Recreation Adventure Leaders will emphasize safety, as well as proper technique. Each guest needs to wear sturdy shoes (hiking or good fitting tennis shoes) for the short hike, and clothes that you can move in. Guests also need to bring water, lunch, snacks, sunscreen and a hat. Dress for the weather. Climbing shoes are very highly recommended, and can be rented at REI or Stone Age Climbing Gym.

Who: There are twelve spaces for youth ages 11-15

Prerequisite: Must be able to hike one mile. To climb, you must already know how to climb & belay. To rappel, you must already know how to rappel.
