Below is a description of the efforts of Kick Butt Day and the Tobacco Education and Prevention program.

Kick Butts Day is the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids' annual celebration of youth advocacy, leadership and activism. KBD is a day to stand out, speak up and seize control in the fight against tobacco. It is an important opportunity to raise awareness about the tobacco problem and support strong tobacco prevention policies.

The youth groups that will be working together to plan this event will include D.A.R.E. (www.deputydon.us) and Get R!EAL (getrealcolorado.com) youth advocates. Information about both groups will be available at the display tables so people can join in the advocacy and educational efforts that both of these groups work toward.

Please plan on attending and having a great time and supporting a worthy cause.
