Coyote Song, a cross cultural interpretation of Coyote tales from a New York transplant who's grown to love and embrace the Southwest. Through this enchanting program, Ramona King delivers ageless tales of the notorious and enduring trickster Coyote. With interwoven vocal sounds by the gifted beat box himself Zack Freeman. Told with a distinct African-American influence she tells these tales in honor of her children's grandmother who took pride in telling stories about the follies of crafty and sly charismatic tricksters. She tells these stories in memory of her father James, a beloved charismatic trickster with Coyote Ways. Art Show To Benefit the Families of Political Prisoners.
The Irish Freedom Committee, Ronan MacLochlainn Cumann of New Mexico will host an Art Show featuring the artwork of current Irish Republican Prisoners of War being held in English and Irish Free State prisons at the Center for Peace and Justice. All proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be donated to families of the current POWs.
