Swing is in the air for Popejoy Hall�s Primavera Ball coming to the Hyatt Regency in downtown Albuquerque on Sunday April 1, 2007 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Sponsored by Bank of America, the event features cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, and entertainment that includes Dixieland jazz, a cabaret supper show, and swing dancing. T here's still time to get your tickets!
Tickets are $150 per person for the entire evening or $1,500 for a priority table of ten. To make reservations, call 277-2139.

Q: Are the new seats coming anytime soon?
A: Yes! This summer, Popejoy Hall will receive a facelift with the installation of all new seats.
Q: When will we receive brochures for the new season?
A. We anticipate delivery to current subscribers in early May. We will mail to prospective subscribers in late June or early July. This year, you will be able to subscribe live online, allowing you to select your seats when you subscribe. Details will be sent with your subscription package.

The Fred Garbo Inflatable Theatre Co. event has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 3, 2007 at 3:30pm. Spotlight on: Sweet Honey in the Rock
Founded as a quartet by Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon in 1973, Sweet Honey in the Rock has grown to a sextet.
The show features six African American women who join their powerful voices, along with hand percussion instruments, to create a blend of lyrics, movement and narrative that variously relate history, point the finger at injustice, encourage activism, and sing the praises of love.
The Sweet Honey experience is like no other... don't miss out.
