Zev is first chair trombone for La Cueva High School's Wind Ensemble and lead trombone for the Silver Blues Jazz Band, and was first chair trombone at this year's All-State Music Festival. He relishes being a member of the Big Bad Bear Marching Band. He is a member of La Cueva's Science Olympiad team and has won several first place awards at state competitions. He also participates in numerous math competitions as a La Cueva student and as a member of the New Mexico Math Team. He also participates in Tonya Akeley's Trombone Choir.
