Santa Fe: Fencing anyone? (The Sword Kind that is!)

NM Fencing Foundation in Santa Fe has room left for students in its
homeschool class on Mondays at 1:00 if you are interested. Classes are
$75 for once a week and $95 for twice a week. No equipment needed.
Please contact the coach David at 577-5008. (class will go through summer)

Also the summer program is as follows:

Fencing camps are offered for kids 7 to 14. No previous fencing
experience necessary to participate in the beginning camps. Each session
has a maximum of 12 children.

The Summer camps are designed for students that have never fenced before
and also for students that have attended the beginning camp or attended
classes during the regular session. Emphasis is on teaching a good
understanding of the basics of fencing: footwork positions, attacking
and defensive actions, learning about the use of equipment.

To reserve a spot mail a non-refundable deposit check of $50 (cash in
person) one week before the beginning of camp to guarantee each session.

Times: 9am-12 non
Cost: $125
Ages: 7-15

What is included in the camp?
All safety and fencing equipment.
Camp t-shirt.
Fruit snacks each morning.
Powdered drink mix.

What should campers wear/bring?
T-shirts.
Athletic shoe.
Sweat pants.
