Wild Mustangs at the Esther Bone Library

Event: Wild Mustangs visit the Esther Bone Branch Library

Date: Tuesday, April 15th, 2008, 4:30 pm

Location: Esther Bone Branch Library, 950 Pinetree Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, on the grass behind the library.

Admission: Free! No tickets or prior sign-ups required.

Description: Back by popular demand, Marian Bray and her wild mustangs will this time be visiting the Esther Bone Branch Library. Ms. Bray will be bringing 4 of her horses and will give a talk on the history of the wild mustang in New Mexico and how to go about adopting a wild mustang. Lynne Pomerantz, mustang photographer, will also be at the program, and will do a book signing and have books and other materials for sale.

This program is geared to all ages and prizes will be awarded to a few lucky participants.

Yoga Class at the Esther Bone Library

Event: Ashtanga Flow Yoga Class

Date: Saturday, April 19th, 2008, 10:00 to 11:00 am

Admission: Free! Prior sign-ups are required at the adult information desk in the library. You may also call or email to register. Space is limited to 20 participants.

Description: Pamela Hong, Ashtanga Flow Yoga instructor will teach this class geared to all levels of yoga experience. You may have never tried yoga before, or be a regular practioner, this class is for everyone. Pam has been studying and practicing various styles of yoga for over 15 years. Please bring a yoga mat (or small rug or towel), wear comfortable clothing and a mostly empty stomach when you arrive at the class.
