Albuquerque: Art Classes at Harwood

Arts and Crafts from Around the World

Instructor: Kerry Bergen



Explore ethnic cultures and traditions from around the world by creating artifacts, decorative crafts and ceremonial arts! These creative classes will include mixed media projects such as masks, puppets, rattles, dolls and textiles. A materials fee of $10 per session is payable to Kerry at the beginning of each class. Each class is a separate unit. Take one, two or all eight. You choose!

Week 4. Saturday, April 5, Chinese Brush Painting

Week 5. Saturday, April 12, Guatemalan Worry Dolls and Animalitos

Week 6. Saturday, April 19, Australian Dreamtime Painting

Week 7. Saturday, April 26, Plains Indian Magic Power Shield

Week 8. Saturday, May 3, Japanese Paper Dolls and Paper Uchiwa Fan

Drop ins are welcome, but pre-registration is encouraged to insure a place in the class.
