Rio Rancho: Le Chat Lunatique Perfoming Free

Le Chat Lunatique to perform at the Esther Bone Library

The swing jazz band, Le Chat Lunatique, will be performing at the Esther Bone Branch Library program room on Tuesday, April 22nd, at 6:30 pm. The library is located at 950 Pinetree Rd. SE, in Rio Rancho, behind the Post Office.


The concert is free, but tickets are required and available at the adult information desk in the Esther Bone Library. You may call 891-5012, extension 3128, for more information or email rnankin@ci.rio-rancho.nm.us.


Le Chat Lunatique plays Gypsy and Western swing music similar to the sound that came out of 1940’s Paris. Their music is similar to Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli. The band was voted “Best Jazz Act” by the 2007 Weekly Alibi Best of Burque Issue.


This concert is part of the free monthly music at the library series. Upcoming concerts include, The Ancient Bones, on Tuesday, May 20th at 6:30 pm and Charmed, on Thursday, June 19th, at 6:30 pm.
