at Books at Bedtime. The program will take place on Tuesdays through
Nov. 6, from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. No registration is required, and you're
welcome to wear your pajamas! Call 891-5013, Ext. 3032, for details.

Design Squad
Like to invent? Brainstorm? Design? Test? Build? If you're age 9-12,
join us for a special challenge each week with Design Squad, based on
a PBS show and website sponsored by Intel. Sessions run from 2:30 to
3:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning Oct. 15.

Weekly signups start at each session, and priority is given to
returnees. Call 891-5013, Ext. 3032, for information.

American Girls Program
Girls in grades 3 to 6 can have fun and learn about Kit at the next
American Girl program on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m.

On cold winter evenings, Kit and her family would switch on the radio.
It might be music or it might be a suspenseful radio drama. Girls of
today can listen (and/or dance) to the hit songs of the '30s, play
games, create a funny paper wreath—the Depression was not all depressing.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22. You may register in
person or by phone, at 891-5013, Ext. 3032.
