Background/Free Concert
SANTA FE � The Kevin Costner Movie "Swing Vote" is hosting a special
event at the Rodeo de Santa Fe on Friday, September 21st with a free
Concert starring Kevin Costner and his band Modern West. In addition
the production will be raffling off a bass boat, a 2007 TRACKER
Panfish 17 with trailer. The public of all ages is invited and doors
open at 5 pm.
Santa Fe Mayor, David Coss, will introduce Costner and his band for a
very special concert for the city of Santa Fe.
Everyone in attendance will be on film for the final debate scene
starring Costner, Kelsey Grammer and Dennis Hopper. Local comedian,
Scotty Goff, will MC with a family oriented comedy routine.
Concert attendees will have the opportunity to watch real movie
production, and win lots of great prizes.
Other prizes will be raffled off including:
3 Trips to Las Vegas
2 Trips to Disneyland
1 Trip to the Richard Petty Driving Experience in Las Vegas
"Swing Vote" is a political comedy starring Costner as Bud Johnson, a
lovable loser, coasting through life. His over-achieving daughter,
Molly, takes care of them both, until Election Day, when she
accidentally sets off a chain of events which culminates in the
presidential election coming down to one vote� her dad's.
"Swing Vote" is a comical look at the journey of one father and
daughter who discover that everyone has the power to change the
world.
