CAMP Program at UNM – College Enrichment and Outreach Programs for students with family backgrounds in seasonal/migrant/agricultural work (broadly defined), usually first-generation college students. To qualify, the student and/or parents must have spent a minimum of 75 days in the past two years performing agricultural activity, and that includes, crops, ranching and livestock and/or poultry, etc, and forestry, lumbering, even tree nursery work. Raising horses as livestock on a ranch does qualify, but not training and grooming show horses or working at a race track. They provide both financial and academic support. If you know any juniors or seniors, point them in that direction.
