Webresource: The Exchange: A new blog examining global issues from a youth perspective

The first edition takes a non-partisan look at the 2008 Presidential
Election and what is at stake for children and youth. Articles
include youth viewpoints about national security, the war in Iraq, the
diversity of the presidential candidates, a voter registration guide,
a profile of a standout youth and much more. To learn more, visit

The Exchange is an online supplement to the Youth Development
Exchange, an organization founded by Chiquita S. Williams. This
journal is created and managed by a team of volunteers, from all
fields, who bring their expertise to the site in order to examine
issues that directly impact our youth. We are all deeply concerned
about the future of society and we recognize that children are the key
to preserving that future.
Our goal is to bridge the gap between children's concerns and the
adults who have the ability to address and act on those concerns.
Please join our debates, where you can comment on the articles of the
current issue. Our primary objective is to get you involved in the
issues that matter most.
We are dedicated to our mission and plan to grow quite a bit in
the coming months, adding an event calender and increasing to weekly
content updates. Starting in November, we will update articles each
Monday. Enjoy your stay here and don't forget to join our mailing
list to receive notifications when the site is updated, as well to
participate in pre-issue surveys that will often be included within
articles.
If you have any interest in being a part of The Exchange, please
contact us on the left side of the screen. We are always looking for
new contributers!
