November is coming up. You know what month it is?
No, no, no... Thanksgiving is not the important Nov. thing.....
It's National Novel Writing Month!

That's right! It's a chance to hone that writing bug and use it to
write a whole 50,000 word book in a month.
Thousands of people have done it, and so can you!
A few of us homeschooling parents (and a couple of kids) have come
together and made a Yahoo group to support each other through NaNo.
If you are planning on doing NaNo, or considering it, please stop by
our group and join the craziness.
2500-3k words a day, lots of hair-wringing, and lots and lots of
tappity-tap-tap, and in the end, what you get is a "book", an "I"m a
NaNo Winner!" icon for your blog, website or wall-hanging, and a huge
sense of accomplishment for having done it!
I did NaNo in 2005 and 2006. I'm now a "novelist". It's great to be
able to say that. Wouldn't you like to too? Hmmmm....?? I bet you do!
