DRIVE Community Service Project Info for Friday-Christian Teen Group

D.R.I.V.E. Christian Group for Homeschooled Teens

Community Service Project for Friday, October 26th
Sandia Ranger Station on South 14 (Also known as NM Hwy 337)

Volunteer "Labor" Workday

The teens will be doing landscaping work to include moving rocks and weeding and digging up undesirable vegetation.

If we have only 15 or less teens we may be helping to stain a deck at the helicopter pad site. If we have a big turnout we may get to do both.

The teens must follow certain safety regulations to include:
Wear long pants
Wear long sleeves
Wear tennis shoes or boots
Wear a hat
Bring work gloves (leather if you have them) ** this is a real important one **

If you have one, please also bring a bucket.
No exceptions. Because of liability, if anyone comes in shorts or open toed shoes or such they will not be allowed to participate.

The teens (and parents) need to bring a sack lunch and drink for our lunch break.

A big thanks to Mrs. Dawes for setting this up for us!

Say Hello!

Since the D.R.I.V.E. Kick-Off Meeting and Social, we have have had about a dozen new teens join our group- and it looks like even more can be expected in the future!

As D.R.I.V.E. members, we pride ourselves in being one of the friendliest groups in town! So when you see a new teen (or parent), be sure to take a moment to say hello, introduce yourself and give them a warm welcome. We are so glad to have them with us!
