New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science

www.nmnaturalhistory.org

Miss out on seeing the educational resources the museum has to offer both homeschool teaches and students at the New Mexico Home School Community Fair? From prehistoric preschool to outreach to volunteering to learning opportunities for homeschool teachers check it all out here http://www.nmnaturalhistory.org/edu_main.html

And more amazing is that they have a fabulous new exhibit called "Dawn of the Dinosaurs" the ONLY Triassic Hall in North America featuring Coelophysis, New Mexico's State Dinosaur! And while you are there going back in time be sure to see the new Dynamax Theatre presentation of 'Dinosaurs Alive' with creatures from the Triassic to the Cretaceous!

There is an upcoming Bosque Education Teacher Workshop coming up on June 30th--see contact info on the website linked above to see if there are still spaces available!

This museum is a largely untapped resouce for the homeschooling community on topics in and around New Mexico and beyond...even to Mars and back, so check it out today!

Need another reason to check them out? The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center in the Sandia Mountains http://www.nmnaturalhistory.org/smnhc/
