More Info on CA & Check out what is going on in WA State

On my home page I have updated information about the California case.
It has been "vacated," which means it doesn't affect anyone else other
than the family who brought the case upon themselves.

Amicus Briefs Accepted by California Court of Appeal - 5/27/08
Updated 5/27/08 to include press release from a second group of
concerned homeschool organizations, including A to Z Home's Cool, who
filed a second Amicus Brief. A joint brief filed by California's three
statewide homeschool organizations has been accepted for consideration
by the California Court of Appeal in the case known as In re Rachel L.

Is there a way I could be more clear?

There is a very slim chance that the rehearing this month could go
sour, but with all the political pressure from the govenator and the
Super of Schools, it is doubtful. This time the judge is being
"educated" with all these briefs from homeschool groups and businesses
throughout California.

Please, get the word out: NOTHING has changed with the ways
homeschoolers in CA may chose to homeschool. That is why the CA legal
information hasn't changed one iota on my site.

If you want to worry, worry about the relative handful of
homeschoolers in Washington DC. Their laws are being DRASTICALLY
changed to the more opressive. Currently, they only have to file a
letter of intent. NOW there is a possibility their laws could change
to this:
