Introduction to Folk Art Painting

Wednesdays, June 4, 11, 18 & 25 – 11:00 am to 12:30 pm:

LEARN BASIC BRUSH STROKES for decorative painting using Acrylics. This is an ongoing class which can be started any time, and there is no age requirement. There is a fee of $25 for three sessions, which includes a #2 brush, book, practice sheets and paint. There is a class limit of 25 people per session. MAKE YOUR OWN TAROT CARDS! Learn to make your own tarot cards incorporating symbols that have special meaning to you while following traditional tarot meanings. DISCUSSION GROUP. Newcomers are welcome to participate in a lively discussion of one of Shakespeare's classical works. This month’s play by the Bard is “Macbeth.” This group usually meets on the final Friday of each month in our Community Room.



Story Time For Children

Saturday, June 28 – 10:00 am to 11:30 am:

STORYTELLING FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS. At 10 am, Brenda will read for “Baby & Me,” children 6 months to 2 years of age, and their parents. At 10:45 am, she will present “Toddler Story Time” for children 2-6 years of age. For more information, contact Brenda at bpstorybird@hotmail.com.

No Book Buying On Wednesdays and Sundays

Most months we will be choosing either a few days or up to a week where we do not look at books in order to price those that we do have on hand. Look for future announcements.
