Esther Bone Branch Library opening Monday
The Esther Bone Branch Library will be opening Monday, February 11th at 9:00 am. The library has been closed for over a year due to a lengthy renovation process.
The hours of operation will be Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Esther Bone Library will be the City of Rio Rancho’s first branch library. It is located on 950 Pinetree Rd. SE in Rio Rancho behind the Post Office.
The branch library will have a collection of almost 60,000 books and other materials, including books on CD, music compact discs, DVDs, and current magazines and newspapers.
The library will also feature a public computer area, wireless connectivity, a Friend’s of the Library bookshop, a new area for teenagers, study rooms and quiet and sunny study and reading areas.
