PBS New TeacherLine Website!

Simpler and more reliable access to your professional
development

Dear Educators,

Exciting News: PBS TeacherLine's new Web site is live!
We’ve recently made some important changes, as part of an
effort to provide you with simpler, faster, and more
reliable access to all the professional development
resources and information PBS TeacherLine has to offer.

Our new Web site will help us serve you better as part of
your effort to ensure that all children receive the best
teaching in their classrooms everyday. As you explore our
cleaner design and easier navigation, here are some
highlights of what you can expect to find:

A streamlined course catalog, easily organized by grade
level and subject area, to find the right professional
development opportunity for you.

TIP: To check for availability, enter your Zip code in the
lower left of the screen. Then, click on the Show
Scheduled Courses link, on upper left of the screen.
TIP: Look for yellow stars next to course descriptions of
Teachers’ Favorites and green circles next to those
courses we recommend having access to a classroom.
For returning, registered users, we have eliminated
“usernames” as log in IDs.

TIP: To simplify the sign in process, you can now log in
using just your primary e-mail address and the same
password that was previously in effect.
For previous learners, we provide more information
regarding past courses.

TIP: Log in and click on My Courses to view your course
history and receipts.
And for new visitors or previous learners alike, you can
find messages from your local, parti cipating PBS station
under News on the right side of the home page.

TIP: You must be logged in. If you have not already
registered on our site, creating an account is free. So
c’mon, give us a try! Simply click the top, right corner
link and log in to find out why PBS TeacherLine is the

The national winter term begins in January 2008, and
courses in your area may start sooner. Enroll today!
