Subject: Writing Competition for Home-Schooled Students
A very warm hello from Sylvan Dell Publishing!
My name is Maggie Stuart and I am the home schooling market liaison for Sylvan Dell Publishing in Mt. Pleasant, SC. I’m writing today to let you know about our company and our first Picture Book Writing Competition for Home-Schooled Students.
Sylvan Dell is a young company on a mission to create picture books that excite children’s imaginations, are artistically spectacular and have educational value. Our goal is to teach science and math through literature so that our titles entertain children while educating them on a variety of subjects. We believe our educational picture books provide an advantageous resource for home-schooled students.
In order to give back to the home schooling community, Sylvan Dell Publishing is proud to announce our first writing contest. We plan to offer this unique opportunity to home-schooled students annually, and we are excited to see the manuscripts that students will submit.
Please read the press release and Call for Entries form that are available on our website. Once you visit the website, I invite you to preview our books and learn more about our authors, educators and Educational Support Team’s efforts to assist teachers, librarians and parents.
I hope you love our books and the Sylvan Dell approach to learning. If you would like to learn more, Publicist Katherine Miller (KatherineMiller@SylvanDellPublishing.com) and I are happy to discuss the contest with you. I hope that you will pass this information on to your home schooling friends, families and communities. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Maggie Stuart
