All the kids who attend
will have an opportunity to speak with arrangers, artistic and music
director and NMSO musicians at the free reception following the
concert.

Several of our composers this year are homeschooled: Maya Vansuch
(just moved to Ohio), Benjamin D. Harris (Bosque Farms) and Ian
Kingsolver of Placitas.

Hey, Mozart! New Mexico Concert

September 7, 2007, 7 pm Hear the 16 child composers from across the
state selected for Hey, Mozart! NM 2007 perform their original
melodies and then enjoy the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra as it plays
the orchestrated versions of the melodies at a free community concert
and reception at the Journal Theater, National Hispanic Cultural
Center, Albuquerque. 250-2341, www.heymozartnm.org. The CD of the
orchestrated versions of the kids' works will be released following
the concert.
