Scholarship Information
Juniors and Seniors: Young Epidemiology Scholars Competition has prizes ranging from $50,000 for first place down to $15,000. To enter, students submit a research project that sheds light on a health problem using methods employed by epidemiologists. Deadline for submissions February 4, 2008. Seniors: Young Entrepreneur Foundation makes available 400 awards of $1000 each, one of those 400 will win $10,000
Through the National Federation of Independent Businesses. http://www.NFIB.com/YEA Students must have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit through starting their own business, through participation in DECA, etc.

Native American and Alaskan Native students, must be enrolled tribal members of federally recognized tribes, all HS grades: 2008 Young Native Writers Essay Contest
Scholarship awards from $1,000 to $5,000 for first place winners, all of whom will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C.
