1. Today starts the World Children's Day fundraising and awareness event.
Running through November 20th, all McDonald's restaurants will be selling
Hands for $1.00 each to benefit RMHC. Here is the link to a McDonald's site
that tells more about this fundraising event culminating on November 20th
when $1.00 from the sale of noted items will be donated to RMHC. Please
support this fundraising activity and pass the word. For more information

2. Saturday November 17th is World Children's Day Block Party. This free,
family event will be at the Albuquerque Convention Center from 11 a.m. to
4 p.m. There will be lots of fun and activities for kids of all ages.
Special recognition to Nancy and Kevin Caldwell who are chairing Block Party
for raising at least $5,000 in sponsorships - with more still coming in.
