Tabitha, here is the email about the choir on the west side. Some things may change, but I won't know that until Lara gets back from vacation. Do you mind sending it out again in a couple of weeks, just in case people haven't seen it the first time? I really appreciate your help in this. Thank you. I hope this looks okay the way it is. Any questions, call me at 514-0975.

WEST SIDE CHOIR OPPORTUNITY!

Does your son or daughter love to sing? Does he/she sing all the time? Do you want to nurture that interest? Do you wish there were a choir on the West Side because you're tired of driving to Albuquerque? We may have a solution for you!

INTRODUCING.....
Lara moore

Trained voice instructor

Lara is new in town and is seeking home school students, ages 8 and up, to form a West Side Choir. Boys and girls are all welcome. To express your interest, please contact Catherine Coss at 514-0975 or cacky10@bluebottle.com.

At this stage, the location and time are yet to be determined, but we are thinking about Monday afternoons, 1:30- 2:30. Please let Catherine know if you would prefer a Rio Rancho or Taylor Ranch location.

The price would be $30 to $35 a month, for one hour a week. Siblings would be $15.00! If you know of a great location in Rio Rancho that would be consistently available at the same time each week, please let Catherine know that as well.

Private lessons are also available at a very reasonable price. Lara has been teaching private voice for 3 years. See the following for references. Contact Lara about private lessons at apollos_crew@msn.com.

Here's what others have to say about Lara Moore:

Taking voice lessons with Lara Moore has been a wonderful experience for my three children, ages 8, 10, and 13. Lara is a warm, enthusiastic, and gifted teacher dedicated to sharing her love of music with her students in a positive and encouraging environment. My kids sing all the time now, I hardly ever have to remind them to practice at home because they enjoy it so much! I know that the kids look forward to their time with Lara and that they have more confidence in the ability to sing. The voice lessons with Lara have given my kids a better understanding of music in general, as well as a great new opportunity for self expression and creativity.

Dear Lara,

On behalf of Allan and Sarah, I would like to thank you for the dedication and commitment you put into the voice lessons that Sarah was able to experience over the 15 months that you have worked with her. Her voice has developed so beautifully and I know she has valued the experience of working with you. We never have to "push" her to practice what she has learned at home; she enjoys practicing and singing even when she is at the computer! She particularly enjoys singing some of the more traditional hymns that you have exposed her to.

One of her most memorable accomplishments was her performance in her elementary school's talent show a year ago. Here was a child who, when starting Kindergarten was perceived as "not taking risks;" yet she ended her 5th grade year singing "Balm of Gilead" solo in front of 400 students!! I know that God gave her the confidence and potential gift, but it was your patience in working with her that gave her that desire to perform and try her very best. You will be missed! Best of ever and abundant blessings as Jeff and your family begin a new journey together!

To Whom It May Concern,

I would like to recommend Lara Moore as an outstanding voice teacher. She has taught our children the techniques of using their voice properly and they have found a love for singing. In particular, my son who is 12, started voice lessons with Lara a little less than a year ago and she took him from having no experience or training to singing in the local Stars of Tomorrow show. He would never have been able to do that if he had not had the kind of instruction that Lara gave him. She was able to take the natural abilities he had and bring them to a whole new level with the proper instruction.

In addition to having a beautiful voice herself, she has taught our kids how to find their own love for music. She has done a wonderful job and we will miss her patience and dedication to bringing out the best in our children.

Sincerely,

Carrie Flores
