Albuquerque: Speech Therapy for Homeschoolers?
Does anyone know of any speech therapy for homeschoolers, preferably in the Albuquerque Area. Is there a situation where this parent can get it through the school system even if they are in the system? Is there a therapist out there that you highly recommend? I have heard from some of you that there are programs available but then you did not want your kids in the system so you went the private route so could you give me details so that I can put you in touch with this mom and help her and her kids.

According to my (awesome) pediatrician, if you live in the
APS district, even if you are a homeschooler, you would go through
ChildFind, unless you have insurance that is willing to cover it
through someone else. He is going to try a referral for XXXX with
my insurance, but he said there is a strong possibility that my
insurance company will direct me to the public school system out here.
He said that the public schools are given funding and they are to use
it for all children within their district, even homeschoolers.
