I'm working with the NM Dept. of Health and NM Media Literacy Project communicate a contest to NM middle and high school students, and we want to include home school students. The contest is looking for radio scripts and TV storyboards for 30-second commercials written by New Mexico middle school and high school students, aimed at preventing teen tobacco use. We think the contest is very appealing project for home school students; 8 winners will receive $500 cash!
Is there a newsletter or email list that goes out to NM home school parents or students? If so, is there any chance we can communicate this project/contest to the parents?
A letter to teachers and a promotional flyer are attached for your information. I can write a brief letter specific to home school parents if that will help. I'd love to hear back from you and thank you in advance.
