Jay Zeiger – Lets Make Modern Fossils – Materials collected from nature
and industry are pressed into clay molds. Cast in plaster and stained with
watercolor to look old. Students sign up for one section or may sign up for
both sections

Karen Luther – Jewelry – Chain Making - Learn to make a simple yet
beautiful silver chain bracelet. Participants will wrap the wire around a

Karen Luther – Make an Egyptian Spiral Bracelet - Learn to make a
silver Egyptian bracelet. Participants will cut, shape and put together each
link to create the bracelet. Students will need round and flat nose pliers and
wire cutters. These are two separate classes. Students may sign up for one,

ART APPRECIATION
John D. Werenko – Renaissance/Impressionism/Modern Art -
Participants will study the art of Michelangelo, Raphael, Tintoretto,
Rembrandt, Manet, Monet, Pisarro, Sisley, Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso
and others. The class is taught using slides and films on how to
appreciate painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography,
architecture and crafts.

CRAFTS

Fran Stovall – Stained Glass Three Dimensional Projects– Learn how
to make boxes, lamps and other less than flat objects. Students will need
to have some experience copper foiling to take this class. Instructor will
supply glass and foil for the first project; after that, students will supply
their own glass and foil. Students must bring their own tools except the
grinder and soldering iron. Limited to 5 students.

Fran Stovall – Stained Glass Basics – Students will learn everything
they need to know to start stained glass projects, or brush up on
previously learned skills. Learn where and how to buy equipment and
glass. Supplies will be discussed at the first class and students need not
purchase equipment until different tools have been tested. Students will
learn what is needed in a workspace, maintaining tools and safety
guidelines. How to make a small lead came and copper foil project will
be completed. Bring safety glasses to class. Limited to 5 students.

Linda LaVie – Landscape and Still Life Painting in Oil – Learn to
paint beautiful landscapes from your photos and still life paintings from

EMPTY BOWL PROJECT

The Art Center supports the Empty Bowl Project sponsored by Self Help, Inc. ACFL provides instructors and space to create ceramic bowls
to be sold in support of Self Help, Inc. The tuition charged is use solely for supplies and materials. Instructors donate their time to help
students create beautiful ceramic bowls.

Empty Bowl Ceramic Class for Children and Families (Session 1) –
Students will create and throw pots and bowls in the Ceramic Studio in
the Art Center at Fuller Lodge. Class may be taken independently or as
two sessions. If taken as two sessions the tuition is $40. Instructor:

pocket expense for the student and is not part of Tuition or the Studio Fee.
