New Mexico Space Camp-In Deadline Extended

The RSVP deadline for the New Mexico Space Museum Camp-in and Xprize Education Day has been extended, so if you are interested, please email adagioacademy@comcast.net ASAP to get on the list. This is an awesome opportunity for families with space enthusiasts. I’d like to turn my numbers in no later than the 16th. To see the original post, please view here:

If you want this event to happen, please promote it to your family, friends and acquaintances. It does not have to be limited to homeschool families. If there is a family public/private school family you’d like to bring, you may do so. When inviting others, please just remember that this reservation has been made for homeschoolers, so the behavior of all present will be viewed as being that of homeschoolers.

Just to recap:
Attend two classes, view the planetarium, watch an IMAX movie, tour the museum, and spend the night in the New Mexico Museum of Space History. Wake-up, launch your rocket, and then off to the Xprize Cup where students will get the chance to meet astronauts, watch rockets launch, view Air Force pilots practice their maneuvers for the next day’s air show, and experience much, much more.

Attendance at Xprize Cup Education Day is FREE.
Camp-in Prices:
Children 1st Grade and up: $40-includes all the classes, movies, a rocket, and staying the night in the museum
Children Under 1st Grade who will be building a rocket and spending the night: $10
Children Under 1st Grade who will not be building rockets, but will be spending the night: FREE
Adults who will be building rockets and spending the night: $30
Adults who will not be building rockets, but who will be spending the night: $20

With adults counting, the minimum of 25 is now attainable. Please pass the word along…let’s make this happen!
