From the New Mexico Homeschool Community

I wanted to send my sincerest thanks to all of you for attending and sharing your resources with the homeschool community of New Mexico! With over 350 attendees it was a resounding success!

Often when the general public thinks of homeschooling they imagine book learning in a home classroom setting and that is a part of some of our lives but the world and the resources in our community are what make homeschooling such a joyful and fulfilling experience. On Friday, May 25th you all shared your services with so many homeschoolers that might not have thought to add you to their family's learning experience and now they have!

Those of you who are homeschoolers yourselves brought your services to the attention of a wider audience and I hope your business continues to thrive.

We hope that you will continue to be a part of our community in the future. On Friday, August 17, 2007 the New Mexico Homeschool Community will present the 'Not Back to School Fair' at the Taylor Ranch Community Center from 9-2PM. The City of Albuquerque's rock climbing wall and a showcase of homeschooler talent will be present. Please contact me at the information below if you are interested in attending and please feel free to forward this information to other community resources that might be interested.

If you have information you would like to share, classes or events that are upcoming please feel free to email me the information to be passed along to our email network. Think of me as a virtual bulletin board and a way to reach the New Mexico Homeschool Community.

Again my sincere thanks,
Tabitha Orr
