The Department of Geological Sciences is proud to announce that the middle school science lessons developed through grants from the National Science Foundation and the Toshiba America Foundation are now ready for you to peruse and use!
The 67 lessons, most of which are available in English and Spanish, were developed by NMSU science graduate students and science teachers in southern New Mexico. The lessons are inquiry-based, and most of them are interdisciplinary as well, incorporating two or more of these disciplines: geology, chemistry, biology, and physics.
You can download the lessons immediately (in doc and pdf formats) at the NMSU GK12 website:http://www.nmsu.edu/gk12/lessons.htm.
