The National Atomic Museum is dedicated to enlightening people about the history and science of the Nuclear Age. Many opportunities exist for an exciting educational experience, from visiting the museum to having your home school community host an Outreach Program. In house museum programs range from Lil Al's Lab, an interactive exhibit area designed for 4th- 6th grades, to special programs such as "The Decision to Drop", "Taste of Science", "The Cold War", and "Nuclear Medicine" that utilize the museum's exhibit areas. Outreach can offer program from Kindergarten up to Twelfth grade with such topics as "Energy Adventures with Lil Al", "Journey to the Sun, Earth & the Universe", "Rockets into Space" plus many more, all customized to fit your home schooling needs. Get shocked by Mr. Van DeGraaf's machine, find out if your kitty litter is radioactive! What is science if you can't have fun learning it.
