Thanks to Central New Mexico @ the Not Back to School Fair

Thank-you to Central New Mexico for coming and speaking to parents and students about attendance at their community college. This is a great asset to homeschoolers who are looking for a variety of college credit classes and for parents who want to continue their education. Please feel free to contact them at the links below if you have questions!

Welcome to Central New Mexico Community College (CNM)!

CNM is New Mexico's largest and most comprehensive community college. For 40 years, we have built a reputation for preparing people for rewarding careers in the community, and our programs continue to grow and evolve to provide workforce and career-technical training for New Mexicans.

There's something for everyone at CNM's five locations across the Albuquerque metropolitan area -- Main Campus near downtown; Montoya Campus in the northeast heights; the South Valley Campus; the Westside Campus; and the CNM Workforce Training Center .

Occupational training courses include more than hands-on skill-building (although there's plenty of that). We also offer associate's degrees and certificates in:

* Applied Technologies
* Business & Information Technology
* Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences
* Educational & Career Advancement
* Health, Wellness & Public Safety
* Mathematics, Sciences & Engineering

We also offer classes for high school-aged students and older adults, distance learning courses, career enhancement courses offered through the CNM Workforce Training Center and more.

Details about academic programs, student services, entrance requirements, and costs are in the Course Catalog, which is available free from any of our admissions offices, and are also outlined on this website.

CNM is accredited to grant certificates and associate of applied science, associate of arts and associate of science degrees by the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) of The Higher Learning Commission, a commission of the North Central Association; 30 North LaSalle Street, Suite 2400, Chicago, IL 60602-2504 (telephone: 800-621-7440). Also, many occupational programs are accredited or approved by professional associations.

In addition to many types of financial aid available to students, the CNM Foundation raises money through donors and endowments to provide scholarships for students in a variety of programs.

We invite you to browse our website and see how CNM can benefit you. If you have additional questions, please contact us.

Welcome to CNM!
