Oklahoma City University Summer 2008 National Auditions

Dear Friend,

The Oklahoma City University Summer Music Programs are gearing up for our
exciting 2008 summer season! This summer, we're pleased to offer the
following pre-college music and theater intensives:

** For High School Students:

High School Musical Theater Program (show TBA)
Vocal Arts Institute (for classical voice/opera)
Percussion Workshop
High School Technical Theater Program

And introducing the new Summer Theater Institute - a three week intensive
that studies the craft of acting and theater.

All high school level programs require an audition for admission
consideration.

** For Junior High students (rising 6th through 9th graders):

Junior High Musical Theater Program (show TBA)

While the junior high program does not require an audition for admission,
those who wish to be considered for financial assistance must submit and
audition.

Our 2008 national summer program audition dates are:

10/3 Houston, Texas
10/5 Richardson & Plano, Texas
10/9 Cincinnati, Ohio
10/14 Interlochen Arts Academy
10/19 Tampa, Florida
10/20 Miami, Florida
10/22 New York City, NY
10/27 San Francisco, CA
10/28 Los Angeles, CA


Auditions will be held at Oklahoma City University on 11/9. 11/10, 2/8, 2/9,
3/28, and 3/29.

Also, you may submit a taped audition. We will begin accepting mailed
submissions on December 3rd, 2007
Exact program dates are still be arranged, but will be offered between June
14 and August 1st. Students may also visit our website for information on

Each summer, hundreds of students travel to OCU for our renowned summer
pre-college training programs. Closely following the same curriculum of our
award-winning music and theater degree programs, students receive intensive
classroom training as well as on-stage performance experience. Last spring,
Backstage Magazine featured us as one of the top summer training programs in
the nation.
